Alright, I said “we” but I suppose I should only speak for myself. I’M super excited about this. It’s not often that you make new friends in your 40’s, particularly if you’re an introverted farm girl. But once in a great while, the stars align and you meet another human who likes all of the same goofy shit that you do. Goats, chickens, bees, growing good things, making stuff...
My mom jokes that if I had a long-lost sister, it would be Tina. We’re not related (look at us standing next to each other and this is evident), but we share so many of the same passions that it’s a little funny. After a bunch of “crafternoons” spent together making cool stuff, it became obvious that we should team up and do this thing together.
Every offering you’ll find here at Gypsy Meadows Market starts as a challenge. “Can we make that?” “Can we improve that?” “Can we reduce the amount of junk in that?” A deeply held belief in simple things has led us to find that we CAN make it, we CAN improve it, we CAN simplify it. We share recipes, gardening ideas, animal care advice. We share our harvests and our ideas, and our goal is to share all of this with YOU.
We hope you’ll feel the happiness that goes into everything we create on the farm, and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
(I’m realizing as I’m about to post this that it would be great to share a photo of us together. Since we both tend to avoid the camera, I’m not entirely certain this will ever happen. So...goats.)
